The AACC Dance Company on Thursday sold popcorn to raise money for a conference.

The AACC Dance Company—a student dance club led by instructor Lynda Fitzgerald—sold popcorn at $3 per bag from 12-2 p.m. in the SUN Dining Hall.

The AACC Dance Company is selling popcorn throughout the month to raise money to attend the American College Dance Association, a regional conference held every year.

Shawn Cook, a member of the dance company said the event “helped them get excited about contributing to the Dance Company.”

Both student and faculty were buying the popcorn on Thursday.

Dr. Nicole Williams, a human services professor and adviser to the student Human Services club, said she left her office just buy some.
