AACC hosts Empty Bowls event

AACC’s student food pantry benefited from the Empty Bowls event Thursday afternoon.

Those attending the event had a choice of three soups.

Soup options were a roasted carrot, sweet potato, and red lentil soup with a parmesan crip, a slow roasted beef soup with ditalini pasta or a tortilla soup.

The bowls at Thursday’s lunch were ordered in advance providing a color choice of teal or eggshell.

The Empty Bowls event typically incorporates uniquely hand crafted bowls.
